(Also called sea rainbow.) A rainbow seen in sea spray.

It is optically the
same as the ordinary rainbow, although the slightly different index of refraction of saltwater results in a shift in the angular radius of the bow, which is apparent if accompanied by a bow formed in raindrops.

Any one of a family of large, colored, circular (or nearly circular) arcs formed by light (usually sunlight) falling on a population of water drops such as provided by rain, cloud, fog, or spray.
