Rayleigh atmosphere

A model of the clear atmosphere used for light scattering calculations.

A pure Rayleigh atmosphere contains only the permanent atmospheric gases that scatter light by Rayleigh scattering. It excludes the effects of water vapor, clouds, and aerosols.
